IDOL is a full-scale vocal competition for the corporate/casino market. Picture…the stage, the lights, celebrity judges, and a celebrity host all backed by a world-class rock band…but this time, you are the rock star! This production is complete with karaoke monitors on projection teleprompters and depending on production interests, the band can be expanded to be as large as a full orchestra if desired.
Compuware hired IDOL to be a part of their annual meeting in Detroit, MI. Out of 1,000 international employee's, 6 finalist were chosen to compete. The event was hosted by Blain Fowler of "Blain & Allyson" on 96.3 WDVD, and featured a celebrity judges panel consisting of producer/rapper Hush (Eminem, Pitbull, 50 Cent Lil' John, Ludacris), Ashley Baracy (WDIB Channel 4 News, Miss Michigan 2008), and record producer/A&R Jim Kelly (Disturbed, Green Day, Josh Grobin, Alanis Morissette). This is IDOL.

So who doesn’t want to be a rock star? An idol? I'm With The Band Karaoke is your chance to rock out with a live band. That's right, a real live band and you! IWTB is the same formula of your local karaoke bar where you pick from a massive list of songs, fill out a request and then get up and rock it! The lyrics are displayed on a video screen, along with a moving symbol, changing color to guide the singer...the whole nine. However, in our production, a professional Vegas-style rock band backs you. This means you’re the rock star with the band! IWTB performs hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, Rock, Top-40, Hair Metal, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance, Country, and more. So...we’re putting the band back together, you in?

Interact is the coolest interactive band/show where you suggest/create/shout-out the sets, then sing em' (well, only if you want). This is a laid-back, cool format suitable for bars, pubs, restaurants, corporate's and-so-on. with eighty-plus years of combined talent, we dare you to try to 'Stump the Band.' Looking for unobtrusive (sort-of) entertainment with flare, try Interact.

You pick the host Karaoke is just that….Choose from our world class roster of profession musicians/singers to host your most special event. If one MC isn't enough, pick two. If two aren't enough, choose an entire band (I'm With The Band Karaoke).
This is based on the standard Karaoke show you may be used to; well suited for self-conscious singers and closet rock stars. The difference is our professional staff of lead singers are there to not only ignite your party but keep it flowing from start to finish. The songs are listed in phone-book-size volumes, packed with request forms and placed throughout the event and include most American karaoke favorites. Our staff will ensure that even the most skeptical and nervous singers will at least give it a whirl.
