The Black Jacks

(See & Hear More)

[ Pub | Rock ]

From the streets in the late 70's music was exploding with purpose while bands were making waves with their garageland politics because it was art-for-art's sake. Such style and 'vibe' has acted like a template for decades and will continue to be the tried-and-true formula for generations of talent. This bravado/stage persona acts as the backdrop to the BlackJack's everyday approach. Every gig is a torrent of pure energy sometimes re-writing the original to fit the mood of the audience on the spot. Think what it would be like if Green Day played "Friends In Low Places," or if the Clash were to perform "Melt With You." As a professional, corporate act, The BlackJack's definitely have a couple of gears starting off with classic-cool artist's like Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones and as the night progresses, the band shifts gears in the later sets to artists such as Flogging Molly, U2, and The Dropkick Murphy's. Whenever, wherever, you need a real, versatile, personable, and endearing act, the BlackJacks will deliver a top-notch performance.
